As compared to Lions the Tigers usually prefer dense forests and high grasslands. The habitat of Bengal tiger is usually near the water resource with an abundance of prey. The male can cover a territory ranging from sixty-kilometer square to hundred kilometers square. They love to spend their time in the water. They can swim for up to seven hours for pleasure. Leopards and Jaguars have lighter physiques compared to others. Both of them are known as black panthers. A leopard can run at the speed of sixty kilometers per hour. Their population is declining due to lack of habitat and fragmentation across various parts of the world.

Various hybrids of big cats have existed, and the evolution of various other cats has been continued for centuries. The snow tigers, white leopards, black jaguars, and cheetahs are various other sub groups among the species. Due to lack of resources the exotic wild cats are reducing in number, we must not support deforestation and provide them their natural habitat to live happily. The animals kept in captivity should be properly cared and provide the best possible habitat for their better development. We should protect the wildlife as it is the most beautiful gift of nature.
