Think you’ve got what it takes to become the Howletts & Port Lympne Wildlife Photographer of the Year? Enter our free 2010 photo contest for the chance to win some fantastic prizes. Check out our 2009 WINNERS photo gallery, click here! The 2010 Competition Visit the wild animal parks in Kent and send us your photos! Howletts and Port Lympne Wild Animal Parks offer many opportunities for stunning wildlife photos, breathtaking views of the Romney Marsh, historic mansion and landscaped gardens. There are four categories: Adults (16yrs +) Children (5-16yrs) Black & white (5yrs+) Mobile phone picture text (5 yrs+) Your photos must be taken at the parks and can be of anything from the endangered animals to scenery! The Prizes Adults: A day with a professional photographer at Howletts or Port Lympne Wild Animal Parks developing further your skills with a camera. Children: A Junior Ranger Experience going behind the scenes and learning more about the animals at either Howletts or Port Lympne Wild Animal Parks. Picture text via mobile phone: A VIP tour around Port Lympne with up to three companions, getting close to the animals and hand feeding the colobus and De Brazza monkeys from inside their enclosure. Black & White: A day with a professional photographer at Howletts or Port Lympne Wild Animal Parks developing further your skills with a camera. Prizes are subject to availability and confirmation. We ask you to make a voluntary donation of £5 towards our conservation work both here in Kent and throughout the world with your submission of photos. Totallywild.net is the official website promoting the charitable work of The Aspinall Foundation in protecting endangered species. The Howletts and Port Lympne wild animal, safari and wildlife parks are the UK based sites for endangered animal conservation. Unlike ordinary zoos, these parks allow visitors to see conservation in action, providing kids, families and adults alike with a wide variety of ‘Totally Wild’ fun days out, packed with exciting activities for the whole family. Our landscaped gardens and mansion house can also be hired for weddings, events and other functions.
