The conservation roadshow serve as outreach educational facility for the work of the Howletts and Port Lympne parks and The Aspinall Foundation.
The conservation roadshow is available for schools and events in Kent.
The roadshow are suitable for pupils in all year groups with tailored talks and activities. Pupils also have the opportunity to handle seized artifacts such as elephant tusks, rhino horns and furs.
A visit from the roadshow satisfies the PSHEC section of the National Curriculum, detailing the conservation work that we carry out and highlighting threats animals face in the wild.
To hire the roadshow for the day costs £150 per day, inclusive of the presenter. You will also receive copies of our Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 student packs with accompanying teacher notes.
