Schools Home Page | Howletts and Port Lympne Wild Animal Parks feature on the global stage of animal conservation protecting the most endangered species. We are home to over 900 animals including the worlds largest group of captive western lowland gorillas and the largest herd of black rhino outside Africa.
John Aspinall�s original dream to breed rare and endangered species and return them to the wild where it is safe to do so is an ethic that we still adhere to. We carry out extensive work in the field of conservation and are keen to encourage children to learn about animals and the environment in which we live.
