IN THE PRESS

Imagine waking up to the sounds of the Serengeti as the sun rises over the plains. Zebra and wildebeest graze quietly, watched intently by rhino, giraffes, ostrich and a host of other beasts as they face up to the day.

No you haven't woken up in the middle of an expensive African safari holiday; you are in fact enjoying a fantastic overnight stay at the NEW Livingstone Safari Lodge at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park.

ITINERARY

Guests will be greeted with welcome drinks on arrival, before being transported to another world as they board the specially commissioned safari vehicles and head off into the wilds of The African Experience, where animals roam free as if on the plains of Africa.

Once immersed in these tranquil surroundings, you will be shown to your luxury safari tents where you can enjoy sundowners on your veranda overlooking the 100 acre African Experience and enjoy the breath taking views over the channel to the French coastline.

An authentic African meal is served with your fellow campers at the LAPA. Your rangers will then talk about their experiences with wildlife in Africa and the vital conservation work of the park.

After your night under the stars, your rangers will wake you with coffee and a light snack in the LAPA, before accompanying you on a dawn safari as the animals begin their day.

A sumptuous breakfast follows before guests are returned to the main park to continue their day exploring other animals such as tigers, snow and clouded leopards, red pandas, howler monkeys, black rhino, elephants and gorillas.
